Thank you for joining us for our 7th Annual SingleMomzRock Valentine's Banquet brought to you in partnership with Victory Mission! This year's event theme is "Warriorz" where we want to empower women and encourage them to fight everyday battles equipped with the Armor of God.
On Sunday, February 17, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 250 local single moms will experience a night out complete with a three course meal, encouragement from our special guest speaker along with live music. Our special guest speaker, Jennifer Barnes Maggio is the founder of The Life of a Single Mom. She is an author/speaker and international single parent advocate. As a former single mom, she has written several single parenting books and has been featured in several hundred media venues as a national single parenting expert. She has more than a decade of corporate leadership experience, including her position as the assistant Vice President of HSBC Bank overseeing more than $55mm in accounts. She attended Copiah Lincoln College maintaining 4.0 GPA. She is an 11-time Circle of Excellence Award Recipient and was named a 2017 Top 10 Most Influential Leader in America by John C. Maxwell. Jennifer serves as the Chief Executive Officer and manages the day-to-day operations of the organization. Ladies, this dear friend is an amazing speaker and her story is one of hope, determination, faith and resilience. You DO NOT want to miss out on hearing her pour into us.
Sarah Robertson from Fotsch and Sarah will return as our emcee for the evening. Dinner and dessert will be provided by DoubleTree which always impresses - (unfortunately, we cannot accommodate special dietary needs for dinner or dessert and ask you to please consider this if you have allergies).
Handsome men will be eagerly awaiting for you with roses in hand to escort you to your table and Delores Albers Photography will be on site to capture all the stunning images of the evening. Each mom registered will receive a goody bag and we will be giving away some incredible door prizes at the end of the evening!
Formal dress is optional, this event is all about YOU, so we want you to be comfortable!
Doors will open and childcare check-in will begin at 4:30pm.
CHILDCARE IS FULL! We have 50 childcare spots open, first come first serve. Please only utilize the childcare if you CANNOT find other childcare. Childcare will be onsite and is for children 12 and under only, they will be fed and have fun activities to do through the evening.
