SingleMomzRock founder, Janelle Reed, comes from a small town in Southwest Missouri. She married her high school sweetheart, but after 12 years of marriage was faced with a divorce and being a full-time single mom of two daughters. Throughout this life change and the many struggles she faced, God laid on her heart the need for encouragement and support through different resources for other single moms.
Janelle’s vision for SingleMomzRock is to provide encouragement and support through all seasons of a single mom’s journey. There are several goals of this ministry: Partner with local programs/resources to share with single parents so they are aware of the different resources available to them for whatever their need may be at the time, to bring single parents together by creating more events in our area specifically designed for them, and to bring encouragement to them by having an avenue of support readily available to them.
Janelle currently resides in Southwest Missouri with her two daughters, ages eleven and fourteen. She is the Outreach and Special Events Manager at Victory Mission + Ministry in Springfield, MO. SingleMomzRock is also now under the official 501c3 unmbrella of Victory Mission, making that move final in November 2017.
She is the current Captain Springfield 2018 and board member of the Finley River District Board, Lighthouse Child & Family Development Center and Blessing Baskets. She was a part of the Advisory Board at the Springfield News-Leader, 2017. She is also a member of ROSIE, which helps support, assist and serve as an advocate network for current and prospective female founders, business owners and leaders in the Springfield region. She is the co-founder of Empowered for Life, along with Central Assembly, which is a mentor based program to help single mom's get out of poverty and stay out of poverty. A previous member of the Poverty Collaborative of Springfield, MO and Jr. League of Springfield. Janelle was the recipient of The Gift of Time award in 2015 presented by the City of Springfield and was nominated for the Most Influential Women award from Springfield Business Journal in 2015 and 2016. She attends New Life Church and is very active in her community and volunteers with several different area non-profits.

Jennifer Campbell originally moved here from a small town in Central Texas around 19 years ago. Through several different journeys back and forth from Texas to Missouri, she has settled down in Southwest Missouri with her two boys, ages 20 and 13. There have been many different paths in careers that she has had, however her most recent and highly valued career is working in the insurance industry for a local Insurance Broker. She takes pride in helping her clients find the very best options for their particular employee’s and making sure each and every one of them is being offered the highest level of customer service.
She is currently the Executive Director for SingleMomzRock, and loves to put her organizational skills to use in this ministry. She has only been a member of SingleMomzRock for roughly four years, however brings an invaluable level of expertise with her due to her work background. Jennifer also runs an organization called Kicks for Kids of the Ozarks, where she provides NEW shoes to kids in need right here in our local area. She has partnered with SingleMomzRock and Rise and Go for the past three years with their annual Back to School Bash and has been able to provide over 330+ children with brand new shoes to start their school year off on the right foot. She is also very involved with her church, North Point Church, and helps her son, Christian, with his endeavors as he ventures into his own philanthropic field of mowing lawns for free for single moms, elderly, disabled and veterans in the community. This idea was created by an organization called Raising Men Lawn Care out of Alabama. The idea is to mow lawns for free those that specific target, all while teaching these young men about helping their community and showing the love of God while they are out there.
